Our core philosophy is simple: All analysis happens entirely in your browser.

Convolens processes all chat files 100% locally in your browser using JavaScript. We do not store or read your private conversations. When using the share feature from WhatsApp, files pass through our server momentarily and are deleted immediately after transfer to your browser.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account Information: If you create an account or subscribe, we collect your name and email address.
  • Payment Information: Processed securely by Paddle (our payment processor). We do not store credit card details.
  • Anonymized Metrics: If you choose to submit your chat to our global leaderboard, we collect only anonymized statistics (e.g., your "Chat Health Score") and a nickname.

2.2 Information We DO NOT Collect

  • Chat Contents: Your messages, contacts, and media files are processed locally in your browser. They are never stored on our servers.
  • Personal Identifiers in Chats: Since we don't receive the file, we don't see who you are talking to.

2.3 Automatically Collected Information

  • Usage Data: Number of analyses performed, features used.
  • Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device information for security and performance monitoring.

  • To provide the analysis features in your browser.
